Blogging is a powerful way to get more traffic for your online business, engage with your target audience, and turn visitors into customers.
However, starting a blog can be overwhelming as there are so many things you need to consider. Some of them are web hosting, CMS (content management system), plugins, and more.

How to Create Your First Kajabi Blog Post
Since it’s easier to design the blog and blog posts when there’s already content, it’s a great idea to start creating your blog post first.
I assume that you already have an account with the platform. If not, you can go to Kajabi.com and click “Start Your Free Trial.” All you need to do is fill out the form, provide your credit card details, and you’re good to go.
Step 1: Set Up Your Blog
On your Kajabi Dashboard, Go to “Website” on the left sidebar, then click “Blog.”
You won’t see anything here since you haven’t written anything yet. Select “Set Up My Blog.”
Step 2: Optimize Your Blog Page
Fill out the title, description, and image for SEO and Sharing.
This will make your Kajabi site crawlable to the search engines to add your target keyword here. Once done, click “Save.” You can always change this under blog settings.
Step 3: Create New Blog Post
Click “New Blog Post” on the top right corner of the page.
Write your title, create and write your content, and select your image.
The platform lets you add images, headings, blockquotes, links, and more to your blog post. You can also highlight texts and change their color. These commands are available as icons in the content area. You can click and use them whenever you like.
For the image, you can use a photo from your gallery or upload a new one.
Step 4: Publish Your Post and Save It
Once you’re happy with your content, you can publish it instantly by selecting “Published” under the “Visibility” box. Click “Save” on the top right corner, and your article will appear on your blog.
Adding Videos or Media
This isn’t required, but if you’d like to add either an audio or video to your blog post, you can simply do so by selecting the media and uploading the file.
Scheduled Posting
Kajabi allows you to set a specific date on when to publish your article. For example, you’ve drafted four blog posts, and you want to release one each week.
To make this happen, go to each article’s “Visibility” box and click “Set a specific scheduled date.” Pick the date and time, then click “Apply.” Select “Save” to finalize everything.
You can forget about your articles as the platform will automatically publish them for you.
Organizing Posts Using Tags
Tags work the same with categories. You may use it to organize your blogs so your visitors can see every article within the topic they’re interested in.
SEO and Sharing
Unlike other platforms, you don’t need to download plugins like Yoast SEO or RankMath, as it already has its own built-in SEO feature.
This setting can be seen in different areas of the software, and for the blog post, it’s located below the content area. If you want to optimize your blog for search engines and boost your site traffic, you must pay attention to this part.
Ensure that you add your target keyword/s to the custom URL, title, and description. Also, don’t forget to add a page image.
When you share the custom URL to your social media account, the content written here will show on your post.

With Kajabi, you don’t need to use any other software for your website builder and business. Everything is in one place. This makes it easy to navigate, monitor, and control your efforts. You can easily create your blog as well and have complete control over it.
In addition, you don’t need to worry about paying any extra fees as everything you need for blogging is already included in the plan you purchase.
Additional Plugins Are Not Needed
There is no need to download image optimization or plugins to make your blog mobile-friendly and responsive. Kajabi ensures fast loading speed regardless of how many videos and images you include.
You can also take advantage of the drag and drop feature of the software without needing to download an app to do so.
The time and money you save from this can be used to create content and new products.
Beginner-Friendly
WordPress.org is the best when it comes to customization. You can literally do everything there, but if you’re a beginner and have zero ideas about coding, it will take you weeks or even months to build a decent site or blog. Even with plugins like Elementor Pro, you still need to spend time learning the tool.
Less Stressful and Expensive
You might think that the recurring fee of Kajabi is too expensive, but if you compute the cost of each feature separately, you can actually save a lot. If you’re only blogging for personal purposes, then choosing other software might be a great idea. However, this software offers a better deal if you’re writing for your business and doing other things like email marketing, selling a course, membership site, etc.
