Webinars are among the best ways to connect and share knowledge with your audience. A study by GoToWebinar revealed that 95% of participants believe webinars have boosted their marketing strategies.
Although GoHighLevel has no webinar hosting feature, you can easily connect it with a third-party app called WebinarKit.
In this guide, I’ll show you how to integrate WebinarKit for your live webinars and use GoHighLevel to create engaging signup forms, build high-converting funnels, and automate your campaign for maximum impact.

Is It Possible to Do Webinars With GoHighLevel
Let’s say you want to offer video-on-demand or evergreen webinars. In that case, you won’t have any issues.
GoHighLevel supports your efforts by letting you upload recorded sessions or links to your YouTube videos. Your audience can sign up and watch your webinars through a dedicated webpage or within your courses.
But hosting real-time webinars is a different story. You’ll have to use another software, and WebinarKit is the best third-party connection I can recommend for webinars.
This platform integrates directly with GoHighLevel and eliminates the need for intermediate tools or complex setups.
Through this integration, actions like registering a new webinar attendee directly into GoHighLevel or tagging and separating attendees from non-attendees and providing different actions for them are easy.
You can create and conduct a successful live webinar using this simple integration and GoHighLevel’s multi-channel marketing.
How to Connect GoHighLevel to WebinarKit
Before connecting to this webinar platform, please note that WebinarKit and WebinarKit Live differ.
WebinarKit excels at automated or ongoing pre-recorded webinars. It’s ideal for offering content that feels live but is accessible anytime.
On the other hand, WebinarKit Live is perfect for hosting real-time webinars. You must purchase them separately but can access their settings on one account.
There are also two ways that you can integrate WebinarKit through GoHighLevel – direct integration or webhooks. Let me show you the steps for each:
Through Direct Integration
- Click “Settings” on your WebinarKit or WebinarKit Live account.
- Scroll down to the Integrations section, then click “HighLevel.”
- Hit “Connect HighLevel account.”
- Choose the GoHighLevel sub-account you wish to connect.
The pros of this integration are that it’s quick and easy to do. However, it’s not very stable. If either of the platforms updates, the integration can be gone, and you have to reconnect them.
You might not get any warning, so check the connection regularly to ensure it’s still active.
Through Webhook
Webhooks offer more freedom, stability, and flexibility. You can use them to connect WebinarKit to GoHighLevel before and after the webinar.
For instance, if you want to provide a webinar replay link for those who couldn’t attend, webhooks can automatically send this link to all registered participants after the event.
They also allow you to integrate multiple GoHighLevel accounts into your WebinarKit. This isn’t possible with the direct integration above.
Here’s an example integration you can follow. It’s for when someone registers for your online seminar inside WebinarKit.
- First, go to GoHighLevel and create an automation under the “Workflow” tab.
- Create from scratch and choose “Inbound Webhook” as your trigger.
- Copy the webhook URL from GoHighLevel.
- Create a live webinar inside your WebinarKit.
- Provide all the necessary data and links for your webinar, such as the title, schedule, domain, registration, and thank you page links. Click “Next” until you reach the last part or “Other” in your webinar’s settings.
- Scroll to the “Webinar integrations section” and click “Webhooks.”
- Paste the webhook URL from your GoHighLevel webinar workflow to the “Registration webhook URL” field. Scroll down and save.
- Click the “Test webhook” link. Doing this will allow WebinarKit to deliver data to your workflow so you can successfully connect it to GoHighLevel.
- Select “Fetch Sample Requests” under the Mapping Reference inside the Inbound Workflow trigger on your GoHighLevel. A request should be visible in the dropdown. Once you see that, click “Save Trigger.”
GoHighLevel will automatically add “Create Contact” as an action. It will help you gather contacts who signed up in WebinarKit to GoHighLevel.
Add fields for the information you want to store inside GoHighLevel. For the custom values, choose the ones under “Inbound Webhook Trigger.”
I suggest you include the following fields and custom values for your contacts.
- Email – {{inboundWebhookRequest.email}}
- First Name – {{inboundWebhookRequest.first}}
- Webinar Link – {{inboundWebhookRequest.url}}
- Webinar Date Timestamp – {{inboundWebhookRequest.date_h_timestamp}}
- Webinar Date & Time – {{inboundWebhookRequest.date}}
After that, you can add your actions or get an idea from the workflow, which I’ll show later. Don’t forget to “Save” and “Publish” this workflow.
Editor’s Note – To avoid inaccuracy, ensure the timezone in your GoHighLevel is the same as your WebinarKit timezone.

How to Create Webinar Forms and Funnels in GoHighLevel
Forms help capture the attention and details of people interested in your webinar. They’re the first step for anyone wanting to join your event.
With GoHighLevel, you can easily create forms, add them to a funnel, and create a workflow to send confirmation and reminders to your contacts. It helps you organize your process, from when someone shows interest until they attend the webinar.
First, let’s discuss how you can design your form. Go to “Sites” and select “Builder” under the Forms tab.
Click “Add Form.” GoHighLevel has one webinar template, but I recommend you choose “Start from scratch” as you will still get a simple form sample.
If you want to add other fields or your custom ones, you can select the + icon on the left-hand side. Then, you can drag and drop them to the page.
Meanwhile, on the right-hand side, you’ll see another icon allowing you to design your forms, like changing font style, size, button, background color, etc.
Once you’re okay with your design, name your form and click “Save.”
Now, it’s time to set up your funnels. Webinar funnels usually consist of two to three steps. Sometimes, the landing page where you introduce the webinar and the form page where people register are separate; other times, they’re combined.
Regardless, webinar funnels typically include a thank you page as the final step to confirm registration and provide the registrant with the next steps or additional resources.
To start, click “Sites,” and you’ll automatically be in the Funnels tab. Select the “+ New Funnel.”
Like forms, you can build your funnel from scratch, but you can check the webinar templates available inside GoHighLevel. They are pretty decent and customizable.
Choose from the designs and click “Continue.” The platform will direct you to the funnel steps. Here, you can add new steps or edit the page.
If you opt for the blank funnel, you must create a funnel step before editing it. Either way, you must click “Edit” to add the form.
Click the + icon to add an element. Scroll down until you see “Forms,” then drag and drop it to the right section or area.
The form picker pop-up will let you choose which form to add. You can also change the redirect action when your lead clicks the “Submit” button. Choose “Go to the Next Step” so your contacts will be directed to the thank you page once they submit the form.
Design and modify your funnel as much as you want. Once you’re done, hit “Save.” GoHighLevel will ask you to add some info for SEO.
Here, make sure that you include your keywords in your title and description, add an image that will show when you share your webinar on social media, and include tags.
Now that your funnel is ready, select “Publish.”
How to Set Up Webinar Confirmation and Reminders Automation in GoHighLevel
This is the last step in preparing your webinar campaign. Automating these ensures that once someone registers for your webinar, you acknowledge them by sending a confirmation message.
Plus, reminders can increase the likelihood of registrants attending as you keep your webinar on top of their minds.
Here’s what you can do.
Select “Automation” and create a new workflow. Scroll to the templates and choose the webinar registration confirmation and reminders recipe.
You don’t have to use the “Trigger Link Clicked” trigger if you haven’t created one. But make sure to add the proper form for the “Registration Form Submitted.”
In addition, if you’ve used a webhook to connect WebinarKit to GoHighLevel, add that. (To remember this step, return to this article’s “Through Webhook” section.)
Next, click “Add registration tag” and provide a tag the platform will use to assign to each registrant automatically. This tag is crucial for segmenting your webinar contacts from others.
For the rest of the steps, GoHighLevel provides sample content you can use. For instance, you get a template for confirmation and reminder messages. All you have to do is add your webinar name and the link.
Meanwhile, you can also adjust the “Wait” time. For instance, you can change the condition (time delay vs event/appointment date) or when your attendees will receive the reminders.
Test your workflow before saving. Once everything works, click “Save” and “Publish.”
